Reporo Appoints Mark Bower to Lead Gay Mobile Ad Network

LONDON — Reporo announced today the appointment of Mark Bower as vice president global gay markets.

Bower will be based at Reporo’s head office in London and will lead the continued launch and roll out of its gay adult ad network.

The executive comes to Reporo with more than a decade of experience as a senior gay adult marketing and business development professional. He previously served as vice president marketing and sales at Sureflix Digital Distribution, operators of Maleflixxx.tv in Toronto, as vice president strategy and business development at Gamma Entertainment, operators of the gay affiliate program Buddy Profits in Montreal, and most recently with AEBN and its gay adult businesses, including Falcon, Raging Stallion, Naked Sword and Gunz Blazing, based in San Francisco.

“Mark has extensive experience within the gay market and has a unique perspective having been part of the amazing evolution of the online gay adult industry over the past 10 years, commercial director Ben Keirle said.

He added, “The next few years will be all about the transition to mobile as the preferred distribution channel for adult content globally. I am excited to have Mark as part of our leadership team based here in London, to provide the vision, strategy and business development expertise to grow our gay adult mobile advertising network.”

Commenting on his new role, Bower said, “I am privileged to be joining a truly world class team. Reporo has established itself as the leader in this sector and is the first to roll out a dedicated gay mobile ad network. Given smartphone adoption rates, projected global mobile ad spending of $36 billion by 2017, and an expected quarter of a billion people accessing adult content via mobile this truly is the next great frontier in the gay adult market.”

The company noted that it has recently been ranked in the number five spot on the Sunday Times fastest growing technology companies.

Bower can be contacted at mark.bower@reporo.com.
